줄거리
#우드론앨러바마주 버밍햄에 위치한 우드론 고등학교는 1965년 미국 앨러바마주 셀마에서 조지 월래스 주지사의 흑백 분리 정책에 맞선 마틴 루터 킹의 에드문드 페터스 다리를 건넌 ‘셀마 대행진’처럼 유서 깊은 흑백 갈등을 안고 있다. 영화 은 이 학교 미식 축구팀의 최초 흑인 러닝백 토니가 어떻게 이러한 갈등을 극복하고 지역 리그에서 우승했는지 보여주는 전형적인 할리우드 스포츠 스타 탄생 이야기
